Embroidery is the craft of decorating fabric or other materials using a needle to apply thread. Thread is available with a very wide variety of colour.

Materials
Embroidery works best on all colours of garments, including thicker/heavier materials like caps, toques, coats, blankets, denim, hoodies, and polos.
We offer work on both smaller and larger runs with our single head and six head machines.
Setup and Cost
There is a setup fee for digitizing, typically $35-$50, making embroidering one item quite costly initially. However, once the digitizing fee is paid, that design can be used repeatedly without additional setup fees.
Things to note:
- Fine details may not work well during digitizing, as the thinnest lines are limited to the thickness of a thread. Not as small as you may think.
- For puff embroidery, even thinner lines are not feasible due to the need to encompass foam.
- Gradients are possible but may not result in the fluidity expected.
- Changes in size or location may incur a new setup fee.

The Sewing Essentials
Satin Stitch
Commonly used for single colour embroidery and dense outlines, satin stitch refers to crisp, single direction embroidery (ie. horizontal or vertical stitching).
Great for font based logos and word based embroidery.
Keep in mind, size matters here! This technique thrives on dense lines and works best with standard or large sizes.
It's Comprehensive
Cover the full spectrum of your design!
Commonly used for larger pieces, from chunky letters to illustrations.
This technique combines satin stitching (typically as an outline) and fill stitching (multidirectional lines) to bring your work to life.

Tackle Twill
Applique style embroidery where a custom-cut piece of polyester is sewn onto (essentially) any garment.

Jumbo Designs
Our extra large frames will accommodate designs that measure up to 16" x 18".
What does this mean for you? Full jacket/sweater backs either directly on the garment or through patch applique!
